Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet with one of our staff members who will be there to pick you and transfer you to your booked hotel in Arusha. Our staff will assist with check-in formalities so you can take the time to unwind after your flight. The remaining of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure as you anticipate the adventure that awaits ahead.
Overnight: Mount Meru Hotel
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
An early morning road trip to Tarangire precedes a hearty breakfast at the hotel. About two hours later, you arrive and check in at Tarangire, ready to explore the park’s hidden corners. Named after the Tarangire River, this park is renowned for its dense elephant population and ancient baobab trees that commands attention at every turn. The game drive here offers a chance to spot a variety of wild animals, including wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and more.
For bird lovers, Tarangire is a paradise, boasting one of the highest concentrations of bird species, and has enough activities to keep your camera or binoculars in constant use all day long.Enjoy a final round of a game drive for today after you’ve enjoyed your packed lunch. As the sun gives way to the night, you head to your booked lodge for an overnight and dinner.
Day 3: Full Day - Tarangire National Park
Today begins quite early with a game drive before breakfast while life in the park is still at its lively state. This early morning activity allows you a unique opportunity to spot predator-prey drama before they retreat for the day. After enjoying these early-morning sights, drive back to the lodge for breakfast.Whenever you’re ready, you set off again to further explore Tarangire at leisure.
While elephants may command attention, the park is also home to lions, leopards (rarely spotted), and an array of plains game, including giraffes and buffaloes.In the early afternoon, you return to the lodge for lunch, then leave one more time after lunch to enjoy more of what Tarangire could offer. Return to the lodge later in evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
Following an early morning meal, you depart from Tarangire and head to Lake Manyara. This often-overlooked park is mostly known for its tree-climbing lions and the Lake Manyara itself, from which the park draws its name, and which shimmers with the vibrant hues of flamingos. Given its unique geographical formation and ecosystems, Lake Manyara will capture you in a unique way.
A game drive here allows you to encounter wild animals, including elephants, Maasai giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, to name a few, as well as a good number of avian species. Take a relaxed break in the afternoon for a packed lunch before resuming your game drive. As the day winds down, you head toward the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive to Serengeti via Ngorongoro crater rim, with packed lunch, check in Serengeti with game viewing en route to Serengeti Serena Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 6 –7: Full Day Game viewing in Serengeti National Park
Renowned for its impressive population of leopard, cheetah, and lion, the Serengeti, meaning “Endless Plains,” encapsulates the soul of its extraordinary landscape. Here, the grandeur unfolds as the site of the world’s most spectacular annual overland migration, a breathtaking journey spanning over 800 kilometers.
Depending on the time of year, you will have a the opportunity to witness the theater of nature, where over a million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles, alongside various antelope species, gracefully traverse the endless plains. The Serengeti’s grandeur, enriched by the perpetual dance of predators and prey, paints an unforgettable safari canvas.

Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, you venture out on a scenic drive toward Ngorongoro, a piece of heaven like no other. Upon reaching Ngorongoro, descend nearly 2,000 feet to the crater floor. Welcome to the eighth natural wonder of the world and Africa’s number one most visited destination. Ngorongoro features the best wildlife-viewing areas, impressive dimensions, measuring about 20 kilometers wide and ranking among the largest calderas globally.
Within its steep, unbroken walls unfold a captivating drama, where the opportunity to sight the Big Five, as well as various other mammalian wildlife roam freely, is extremely high. The crater’s birdlife is equally remarkable, particularly around Lake Magadi, a soda lake at the crater’s base that entices hundreds of flamingos to its shallows. As the day draws to a close, ascend the crater walls and journey to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Highland to Arusha
As your mainland safari draws to a close, start the day with a relaxed and healthy breakfast. Afterward, you’ll depart for Arusha, where your Tanzanian adventure first began. Upon arrival, check in to Mount Meru Hotel for day use Room then proceed with lunch, Later evening you will transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home or proceed to Zanzibar.

Day 10: Fly from Arusha to Zanzibar Islands
Start your day with a hearty breakfast, and then meet your guide, who will take you to Arusha Airport for your regional flight to the Spice Islands of Zanzibar. On arrival, a local guide will welcome you and transfer you to The Swahili House Zanzibar. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your own pace, settling into the island’s warm and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 11: Full Day - Stone Town & Prison Island Tour
A guided tour of Stone Town, a captivating part of the Island steeped in culture and history, precedes a hearty breakfast. This tour lets you wander through narrow streets of the historic city and come one-on0one with famous landmarks like the Old Fort, the Sultan’s Palace, and the House of Wonders, each telling stories of Zanzibar’s diverse heritage.The lively markets, ornate door carvings, and bustling streets bring to the surface the essence of local life as you explore. Around midday, you stop and savor a delicious lunch at the Cape Town Fish Market Restaurant.
Afterward, you board a boat and set sail to Prison Island, a small island with rich historical significance and home to the endangered Aldabra giant tortoises. Explore the island’s lush surroundings, learn about its intriguing past as a former quarantine station, and enjoy close encounters with these remarkable tortoises. Later, you return to your hotel by sunset for a relaxing dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Half Day Spice Farm Tour
Siso Spice Farm, where you’ll experience the aromatic world of spices that earned Zanzibar its “Spice Island” name. A walk through the farm offers you the chance to pick, smell, and learn about the farming techniques behind some of the world’s most famous spices, the very ones that find their way into our kitchens every day.
Midday brings a delightful lunch at Fumba Beach Lodge, offering a taste of the island’s finest cuisine. The afternoon is yours to unwind, soaking up the serene coastal atmosphere at leisure. End the day with a relaxed dinner and an overnight stay at Fumba Beach Hotel.

Day 13: Full Day – Snorkeling and other Marine Activities
Start your day with a splash, following a delicious breakfast as you head out for a snorkeling adventure, exploring the marine life that thrives beneath the waves. Enjoy a picnic lunch during this excursion, savoring the flavors of the region. As the sun begins to go beyond the horizon, you sail back with your personal local guide to the lodge for a relaxing evening. Relish a delightful dinner and unwind with an overnight stay at Fumba Beach Hotel, surrounded by the beauty of the coastline.

Day 14: Full Day - Jozani Forest and Butterfly Centre
Right after an early morning meal, you depart for Jozani Forest, a lush forest known for its captivating biodiversity and the rare red colobus monkeys that call it home. Stroll along the trails under a canopy of tropical greenery, encountering monkeys leaping from branch to branch and an array of bird species in the peaceful forest surroundings. As you walk, the guide shares insights into the local flora, ancient trees, and delicate ecosystems that make Jozani a unique haven for wildlife.
Next, visit the nearby Butterfly Center, a vibrant sanctuary filled with fluttering wings and brilliant colors. Here, you’ll learn about the life cycle of butterflies and see them up close, gaining a deeper appreciation for their beauty and ecological importance. After lunch, in the case of a later flight, your guide will arrange for a comfortable afternoon transfer to Abeid Karume International Airport, where you’ll board your flight back home.
